Planning Engineer
1- Minimum experience 5 years in the same filed.
2- To prepare detailed MEP construction resource loaded program in P6/MS Project along with controlling and monitoring of regular site progress & submit weekly report to client.
3- Preparation and monitoring of sub-contractor program.
4- Submit progress report, Generate S-curve and manpower histogram.
5- Preparation of EOT’s (due to EI's, delay from civil contractor or client) to facilitate commercial department for making cost claim.
 
 
AUTOCAD / BIM Design Technician (Industrial Refrigeration)
Job Description:
This is a great opportunity for a AutoCad/BIM Technician with demonstrated proficiency
in REVIT MEP. To succeed in this role, you will need effective organizational skills,
ability to prioritize workload, and be a team player with strong communication skills.
Job Responsibility & Requirements:
Responsibilities:
As a AutoCad/BIM Design Technician, you will draft, convert, produce and edit plans for
drawings and other AutoCad/BIM generated product.
 Draft/generate redlines: plans, diagrams and schedule drawings in AutoCAD
and/or Revit from redlined drawings
 Provide design assistance and calculations to Designers and Engineers
 Produce drawings/projects consistent with instruction, guidelines and
AutoCad/BIM standards
 Modify Architectural AutoCad/BIM files for use in MEP design drawings (clean-
up, audit, reference, troubleshoot)
 BIM models for coordination using Revit and Navisworks.
 Support refrigeration department team in setting up Revit templates, family
creation and staff support
 Prepare projects for client submissions
 Assist with management of Revit files and projects
Requirements:
 Degree, diploma or completion of trade school or equivalent formal training
 3 to 5 years of working experience with an MEP firm (preferably in refrigeration)
 Sufficient knowledge of drawings to understand red marks
 Able to read floor plans, sections and elevations
 Familiar with latest version of AutoCAD/Revit
 Possess basic drafting skills
 Experience with manipulating and receiving various file formats
 Available to work necessary hours in order to meet project deadlines
 Familiar with at least one: Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing trades
 Experience with the MSN Office Suite

 Organise and coordinate with the refrigeration managers regarding the day to day

 Programming, scheduling and assist in budget preparation and cost management.
 Co-ordinate regular site inspections to monitor standard of work and completion
schedule.
 Manage and provide technical support to the supervisors to execute the works

 Submit requirements and justifications for resources such as materials, tools,
equipment’s and man power. Monitor for accuracy and variance.
 Prepare and submit quotations and estimates. Liaise with supervisors / technicians
to ensure accuracy of quotations and estimates.
 Prepare and submit all associated commissioning and handover documentation.
 Co-ordinate Site installation works (including liaising with Client parties, other trades
and associated drawing preparation).
Requirements:

 Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Building Services Engineering.
 4-6 years engineering experience in electrical construction (preferably refrigeration).
 Middle East experience preferable but not essential.
 Thorough knowledge of the practices, methods, equipment and materials in the field
relating to MEP installations and related systems, plant & equipment
 Display a relevant level of knowledge of other associated engineering disciplines
 Ability to plan and supervise the work of junior engineers/technicians.
 Ability to read and interpret plans, sketches, drawings, specifications and technical
documents.
 Ability to estimate engineering requirements and to assist in planning projects.
 Ability to maintain engineering records and prepare associated progress reports.
 Ability to communicate and coordinate with superiors, subordinates, vendors,
consultants and Clients.
 Assist relevant manager with procurement process.
 Excellent communication skills.
 Strong IT skills. Experience in commonly used software packages including Excel,

equipment function.
 Ability to read and understand mechanical plans.

Responsibilities:
From Initial enquiry and project inception stage and throughout the project until client
hand over and account settlement, been a key player within the project team,
encompassing :-
 Refrigeration plant designs, surveys, studies and engineering.
 Equipment selection and heat load calculations.
 Preparation of specifications, quotations and tenders.
 Technical aspects of project and resource planning and estimation.
 Process engineering support for industrial refrigeration plants and projects.
 Develop Process flow diagrams.
 Ammonia and HFC refrigeration design.
 Control valve selection and sizing.
 Piping selection and sizing.
 Screw compressor and reciprocating compressor selection and sizing.
 Calculate heat loads for heat exchangers, condensers and cooling towers.
 Manage projects (upgrades and retrofits as well as plant improvements and
expansions) at existing and new locations.
 Generate authorization for capital expenditure (ACE) requests and follow-up on
the approval process.
 Specify equipment and services, select vendors, issue purchase requisitions and
expedite delivery.
 Familiar with Evapco / RVS, BAC, Refrigeration Specialties, Hansen, Danfoss,
Parker, Bitzer, Sabroe, Frick, GEA. Howden and Vilter equipment etc.
 Participate in the design and execution phases of new projects.
 Participate in the creation, updates and reviews of PRIs, ARAs, PHAs, PSSRs,
P&IDs, MOCs and SOPs as design authority.
 Directly responsible for execution of project from concept to PSSR sign-off.
 Projects range in size from $1.5 - $25 Million.
 Maintain knowledge and understanding of current industry technology and
trends.
 Develop and maintain contacts with engineering and operations personnel in
order to share best practices.
 Provide technical expertise in industrial refrigeration plant operations and
maintenance to O&M Departments and other entities on a variety of plant
engineering and operational issues.
 Handling the technical aspects of the resulting contracts / projects for purchase
orders, embracing:
 Client liaison for technical submittals and approvals for mechanical,
instrumentation and civil disciplines.
 Handling key contract execution issues, project resourcing and people
management.

 Hazops (hazardous operational studies and plant safety requirements).
