QC Welding Inspector (Offshore)

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 6–8 years of experience as a QC Welding Inspector in offshore oil & gas projects, including platform fabrication, installation, and hook-up activities. Must have a valid CSWIP certification with strong expertise in inspecting all offshore welding operations such as fit-up, root pass, final welds, and visual inspection of welded joints under marine conditions. Skilled in reviewing WPS/PQR, weld maps, material traceability records, and inspection test plans (ITP) in accordance with offshore project requirements. Well-versed with international codes and standards such as ASME Section IX, API, and client specifications applicable to offshore environments. Capable of performing stage-wise weld inspections, identifying defects, verifying repairs, and ensuring strict compliance with quality, safety, and offshore operational standards.
