The Treasury Coordinator is responsible for supporting the treasury function by managing daily payment requests, coordinating banking documentation, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring the timely processing of payments and post-dated cheques (PDCs). The role involves preparing payment request letters for taxes, utilities, and other recurring expenses, reviewing and coordinating approvals on payment-related documents, maintaining records of bank submissions, updating treasury signatories, and tracking issued PDCs. The Treasury Coordinator also ensures compliance with internal procedures and audit requirements by maintaining proper documentation, submitting banking documents within required timelines, and providing administrative and operational support to the Treasury Manager through various ad-hoc treasury-related assignments.
The ideal candidate should hold a B.Com degree with 1–3 years of experience in a corporate treasury or banking environment. Candidates should possess a good understanding of banking documentation and compliance requirements, along with strong organizational, record-keeping, and attention-to-detail skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel, the ability to meet deadlines, and effective communication and teamwork skills are essential for success in this role.
