Electrical Technician

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to perform troubleshooting,

maintenance, and repair of electrical equipment and systems to ensure safe, reliable,

and efficient plant operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the

petrochemical or mining industry and a strong background in industrial electrical

maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

 Perform troubleshooting, inspection, maintenance, and repair of electrical

equipment and systems.

 Carry out preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to ensure maximum

equipment reliability and availability.

 Diagnose electrical faults and implement effective repair solutions to minimize

equipment downtime.

 Inspect motors, transformers, switchgear, control panels, MCCs, VFDs, and

electrical distribution systems.

 Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and

technical manuals.

 Install, test, and replace electrical components and equipment as required.

 Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company safety procedures,

electrical standards, and HSE regulations.

 Record maintenance activities and prepare service reports and technical

documentation.

 Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and operations teams to complete

maintenance work efficiently.

 Support equipment commissioning, shutdowns, and turnaround maintenance

activities when required.

Minimum Qualifications

 Diploma or Technical Certificate in Electrical Engineering, Electrical

Technology, or a related field.

 Minimum 4 years of experience in electrical troubleshooting, maintenance, and

repair.

 Experience in the petrochemical or mining industry is required.
