Mechanical Technician

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to perform troubleshooting,

maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient

operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the petrochemical or

mining industry and possess strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems and

equipment.

Key Responsibilities

 Perform troubleshooting, inspection, maintenance, and repair of mechanical

equipment and machinery.

 Carry out preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities to

maximize equipment reliability.

 Diagnose mechanical faults and implement effective repair solutions to minimize

downtime.

 Inspect equipment and identify potential issues before failures occur.

 Read and interpret mechanical drawings, equipment manuals, and maintenance

procedures.

 Ensure all maintenance work is completed in accordance with safety regulations

and company standards.

 Record maintenance activities and prepare service reports and work

documentation.

 Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and operations personnel to ensure

timely completion of maintenance work.

 Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized condition.

 Support equipment commissioning, shutdowns, and turnaround maintenance

activities as required.

Minimum Qualifications

 Diploma or Technical Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical

Technology, or a related field.

 Minimum 4 years of experience in mechanical troubleshooting, maintenance,

and repair.

 Experience in the petrochemical or mining industry is required.
