Mechanical Technician

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to perform troubleshooting,
maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient
operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the petrochemical or
mining industry and possess strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems and
equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform troubleshooting, inspection, maintenance, and repair of mechanical
equipment and machinery.
Carry out preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities to
maximize equipment reliability.
Diagnose mechanical faults and implement effective repair solutions to minimize
downtime.
Inspect equipment and identify potential issues before failures occur.
Read and interpret mechanical drawings, equipment manuals, and maintenance
procedures.
Ensure all maintenance work is completed in accordance with safety regulations
and company standards.
Record maintenance activities and prepare service reports and work
documentation.
Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and operations personnel to ensure
timely completion of maintenance work.
Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized condition.
Support equipment commissioning, shutdowns, and turnaround maintenance
activities as required.
Minimum Qualifications
Diploma or Technical Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical
Technology, or a related field.
Minimum 4 years of experience in mechanical troubleshooting, maintenance,
and repair.
Experience in the petrochemical or mining industry is required.
